What’s Brewing: March 17th–23rd

May the luck of the Irish be with you! As we step into this next cycle, let’s embrace the flow of synchronicity, expansion, and the magic unfolding around us.

Reclaiming St. Patrick’s Day

While today is widely celebrated as an Irish festival filled with luck and revelry, its deeper roots tell a different story—one of resilience and reclamation. The legend of St. Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland is often misunderstood. There were never actual snakes—this was a metaphor for the Irish Druids and Pagans who refused to convert to Christianity. What is often overlooked is that St. Patrick’s mission led to the attempted erasure of Pagan traditions, wisdom, and spiritual practices from the island.

So, as we honor today, let it not only be a celebration of Irish culture but also a powerful moment of remembrance and reclamation. Let us reclaim the magic, the deep connection to the land, and the ancient wisdom that endured despite efforts to erase it. This is a day to stand in our power, honor our ancestors, and celebrate the spiritual traditions that refuse to be silenced.

The Magic of the Week Ahead

St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) – A day of luck, but also a day of reclamation—of remembering and honoring those who held onto their truth despite oppression.

Spring Equinox (March 20th) – The turning of the wheel brings us to Ostara, a festival of fertility, planting seeds (both literal and energetic), and igniting the fire of our Sacral Chakra. Traditionally, Ostara is a celebration of pleasure—allowing the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine within us to play. This is why we exchange eggs during this season. If you’re a farmer, you may even notice your hens laying more right now, in tune with nature’s rhythms.

Ostara & Rapid Change – The rabbit, another symbol of this sacred time, reminds us that swift transformation is possible. If you’re like me, you may have noticed that March is often a time of big shifts. It’s called Money March for a reason! The seasonal shift from winter to spring can be radical, reflecting our own ability to manifest change in an instant.

As we embrace this week, pay attention to how the energy of rest and relaxation transforms. This rest holds a higher vibration—it’s not about depletion but rejuvenation. It’s a rest that restores your power, allowing you to fully step into your creative force.

Tarot Card of the Week: The Empress

Affirmation: I am the keeper of my own Garden of Eden. I nurture, create, and receive with abundance.

To deepen your connection to this energy, here are six journal prompts or tarot questions for reflection:

1. Where in my life am I being invited to plant new seeds of growth?

2. How can I embrace rapid transformation with trust rather than fear?

3. What am I ready to nurture and cultivate in this new season?

4. How does my Sacral Chakra speak to me, and what creative desires are awakening?

5. In what ways can I allow rest to feel replenishing rather than restrictive?

6. How can I embody The Empress in my daily life, honoring both my power and my ability to receive?

This week invites us to reclaim our magic, step into abundance, and honor the cycles of transformation. Let’s walk forward with intention, power, and reverence for the wisdom that cannot be erased.
